Worlds are colliding. The place where we buy paper towels and kitty litter has teamed up with the department store that's stocked with our dream shoes. That's right. Target and Neiman Marcus have teamed up to release a collection of 50-plus items on Saturday, December 1, at the big box store and the luxury retailer.
Also in the mix is Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) which brought to the buyable table a group of 24 designers, including Marchesa, Altuzzara, Derek Lam, and Rodarte, who put their stamp on bicycles ($499.99), blazers($129.99-$149.99), cookie cutters ($29.99 for a set of five), and luggage -- among other things.

The Good: In the utterly likable category, there's a trio of metallic Marc Jacobs pouches ($69.99 each), a set of colorful Carolina Herrera stationery ($19.99), and a black and white Diane von Furstenberg jewelry box ($49.99).
The Give-Aways: The stuff we don't want for our Grinchy selves but would be willing to snag as gifts for others includes a boyfriend-friendly stainless steel Rag & Bone flask ($29.99), a faux fur hat ($39.99) from Skaist-Taylor for that beast of a niece, and Band of Outsiders cookie cutters ($29.99) for an aspiring baker. To please the style-conscious, pick up Rodarte's nautilus-inspired ornament ($19.99) that'll make her tree as fashionable as she is.
The Gimmes: Worthy of our wishlist this holiday season are a pair of leopard Derek Lam slippers ($49.99) and a gold and glass Altuzzara cocktail shaker ($49.99) for making classy drinks we can sip while wearing said slippers. We're also gonna need the sequin-embellished Prabal Gurung cape ($79.99) so that we can pretend to be Blair Waldorf while it's still chilly out.
