Looks like it's going to be a treat-yo-self kind of weekend for Aziz Ansari. The celebrity stand-up comic known widely for his role as Tom Haverford on NBC's Parks and Recreation just received a rumored $3.5 million advance from Penguin Press for his very first book deal.

The untitled book, set to be released in September of 2015, will be centered around Ansari's take on dating in the modern world. Ansari will discuss the challenges of being single in a technological era and meet with "noted academics" to back up his no doubt comical first-person perspective with actual scientific research.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ansari offered this statement about his upcoming project:

"You know when you text someone you're romantically interested in and you don't hear anything back and then you see them post a photo of a pizza on Instagram? That's exactly what I want this book to deal with. These are strange conundrums that no generation has ever faced before and it's a fascinating jumping off point for what I hope will be a very interesting book about modern courtship."

This book deal comes right off the heels of Ansari's most recent comedy tour Dangerously Delicious and will coincide with his work on the upcoming fifth season of Parks and Recreation, which returns September 26.
