If you're one of the many people who have a Stormtrooper helmet, argue on a daily basis about whether or not it's better that Han shot first, or merely wish that Jar Jar Binks could be erased out of existence with a Brillo pad and bleach, then The People vs. George Lucas just might be the film for you.

The People vs. George Lucas, set to screen during the International Horror Sci-Fi Film Festival (part of the Phoenix Film Festival) is a documentary film by Alexandre O. Philippe. It combines a series of interviews, parodies, cartoons and Youtube clips to demonstrate the love and extreme hate fans have for the Star Wars creator.

The 97-minute movie tackles the fanaticism of Star Wars fans in not only a comedic light, but also a critical one, resulting in the ultimate question: is George Lucas a god or the antichrist?

The film has been on a tour de force throughout the U.S. and is now coming to Arizona this weekend. Catch a screening of the full film on April 2 at the Harkins Scottsdale/101 Theatre in Phoenix and a trailer below:
