Get your dancing shoes on, Phoenix, because there's a new party in town. The Phoenix Festival de España is making its downtown debut this spring and we've got all the details for the never-before-seen event.

Presented by Phoenix Center for the arts and Flamenco Por La Vida with support from Phoenix Remezcla, Phoenix Festival de España is community celebration of Spanish arts and culture, exploring everything from food and music to performance and visual arts.
This première festival, which will take place at Phoenix Center for the Arts, will feature an all-day agenda of free activities like Flamenco classes for different ages taught by Flamenco Por La Vida, a lecture on Northern Spanish culture led by Petra Conde of the Asociación Cultural Española de Arizona, a lecture on Flamenco history lead by Erica Ocegueda, art displays, and plenty of Spanish food and drink.
There will also be dance and musical performances by local, regional, and international artists throughout the day including Macarena Giraldez, Vicente Griego, Jason Martinez, Mele Martinez, Elena Osuna, Gabriel Osuna, and Angelina Ramirez.
The cultural festivities will conclude with a show from Third Street Theater's flamenco dancers at a suggested donation of $15. The Phoenix Festival de España runs from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 22.
