When you put your key in the ignition and turn on the radio, what station would play right now? Sirius XMU. It features great new indie artists -- I've heard Lykke Li, Neon Indian, Chapel Club and Lana Del Rey on this station.

What's the first album you bought? Ramones.

What's the first concert you saw? Aerosmith with AC/DC opening for them.

What's your favorite concert you've ever been to? 2009 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Annual Festival -- an incredible line-up including Paul McCartney, Morrissey, The Killers, Amy Winehouse, The Black Keys, Silversun Pickups and The Cure.

What's the last song played on your music player? "But Not Tonight," by Depeche Mode.

Preferred format: CD, vinyl, cassette, 8-Track or digital? I have a pretty extensive collection of vinyl, and there is still something very cool about playing vinyl. Digital is so amazing though -- I've got like 30,000 songs on my iMac.

What's your favorite album? The Smiths by The Smiths -- their debut album from the lads from Manchester, England.

Who is your favorite singer or band? Morrissey lead singer of The Smiths -- he has stood the test of time, voted by NME as the one of the most influential British bands of all time. Depeche Mode, The Cure, Interpol and Joy Division are right up there, too.

Does your computer track how many times you've played something -- if so, what's at the top of the list? Oddly enough, something from The Smiths.

What one song would you play if you had a world-wide radio audience? "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out," by The Smiths. Possibly the finest song ever!

Who is your favorite local artist? It's a friend's band -- Instant Classics.

What is your favorite local venue to see music? Celebrity Theatre, Marquee Theatre and Crescent Ballroom.

What is your favorite music video? Anything from OK Go -- they're brilliant!
