Dylan is set to perform at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum during the second night of this year's Arizona State Fair on Saturday, October 17. Much like any other oncert at the annual cavalcade of corn dogs and cotton candy, you can get into show for free with paid fair admission (which usually runs around $10). Reserved seats are also available for $20.
It understandably won't be the same as watching Dylan share the stage with Willie Nelson, but the coliseum's ginormous air conditioning system should keep things at a crisp 70 degrees, so there's no excuse for him to cancel this particular gig.
The rest of the state fair's concert line-up for 2009 is a mix of the usual country and throwback acts, as well as performances by a pair of American Idols. Sadly, Dylan is the best of the bunch, as there's no Weezer (who visited last year) this time around to liven things up. Hit the jump for the complete list of who will be hanging out on the midway.
(NOTE: All shows start at 7 p.m. and reserved seating is typcially $15-$20.)
