It's a safe bet the music aficionados reading this post or new contributor Michael Lopez's posts on Fleet Foxes and Animal Collective are not going to care much about this news, but here on Up on the Sun, we cater to all musical tastes, so it's imperative we share this announcement with you: G. Love & Special Sauce and Eric Hutchinson are coming to the Marquee on March 5.

It's kind of an odd pairing, considering Hutchinson is a devotee of the Mraz school of adult album alternative and G. Love is -- ostensibly -- a hip-hop group. But, of course, both acts are mostly categorized by their upbeat and painfully inoffensive sound.

If you've been planning to ask out the receptionist at your doctor's office, this is probably the show to which you should buy two tickets you can't use by yourself.
