Skying, the third album from The Horrors, is set to be released this July. In preparation for this, the band just released the album's lead single, "Still Life," which can be heard after the jump.
As evidenced by "Still Life," The Horrors have become the well-rounded, post-punk outfit that we've come to expect from a bunch of nice, young British lads. Lead singer Faris Badwan has brilliantly found his vocal mark, making 2007 and Strange House seem like it was over a decade ago. The evolution of The Horrors is a strange one indeed, yet the initial curiosity that surrounded the band and their unique aesthetic has been replaced by their matured, rather polished sound.
Skying is out 7/11 via XL. Track list is as follows:
Changing the RainYou Said
I Can See Through You
Endless Blue
Dive In
Still Life
Wild Eyed
Moving Further Away
Monica Gems
Oceans Burning
