When you put your key in the ignition and turn on the radio, what station
would play right now?
103.9-FM. I'm not hella into a ton of super mainstream bands, but I'd take a little Muse or (Red Hot) Chili Peppers on my ride.

What's the first disc you bought? "Puttin' on the Ritz," by Taco. I listened to that 7-inch over and over. Taco and The Oak Ridge Boys were what's up when I was little.

What's the first concert you saw? Linda Ronstadt, I think at the fair? But that's boring. The first 'show' I went to was Pavement at Hollywood Alley. The first time I used a fake ID was Calexico at Nita's -- full-on Mariachi band blaring in my face and smoking inside! Ahhhhh.

What's your favorite concert you've ever been to? I took my parents to Simon & Garfunkel when they reunited 7 or 8 years ago, which was a number one on my bucket list since I was like 12. And Paul McCartney! I bawled through both those shows. I go to a lot of shows, but those were special. Hank 3 is a good show too.

What's the last song played on your music player? "I Need a Dollar," by Aloe Blacc.

Preferred format: CD, vinyl, cassette, 8-Track or digital? CD, no doubt. I love the anticipation of each song and knowing that's how the artist thought it would sound best. That said, I feel the same way about records and and have the sickest collection ever. Bring it.

What's your favorite album? I want to say The Beatles, 1962-1966, but if we are talking some crazy space expedition shit, then I am taking There's Nothing Wrong with Love, by Built to Spill.

Who is your favorite singer or band? Easy! Built to Spill.

Does you computer track how many times you've played something -- if so,
what's at the top of the list?
"The Biggest Lie," by Elliott Smith. It makes me feel real bad.

What was your favorite new or new-to-you album from 2010? She & Him, Volume Two. I
play it at The Coffee Shop a bunch.

What one song would you play if you had a world-wide radio audience? "The
Boxer," by Simon & Garfunkel, because it's awesome.

Who is your favorite local artist? Job for a Cowboy. Those fools are
part of my kitchen crew -- I'd die for them.

What is your favorite local venue to see music? Marquee (Theatre). The floor is
nice and sticky -- so i can wear super-high heels and not worry about
falling over.

What is your favorite music video? "Hot for Teacher," by Van Halen, or "Evisceration Plague," by Cannibal Corpse.
