A handcuffed suspect escaped from Scottsdale police on Tuesday afternoon. The
suspect was stopped for a traffic violation, but fled and is still on
the loose. Police say he left his female passenger behind and they
expect to catch up with him soon...A man was shot in the arm during an argument at a Mesa orange orchard.
Police say two transients got into a fight in the orchard near Main and
Val Vista, and one man shot the other. The victim was transported to a
hospital with non-life-threatening injuries...The Halle Center for Family Justice at ASU will be funded by a $1 million grant from the Bruce T. Halle Family Foundation. Former
