A jet from the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma crashed southeast of Phoenix.
The crash of the AV-8B Harrier happened in an unpopulated area near Sacaton, and the Marine pilot ejected safely, according to updates from the air station.
Update: Harrier departed from MCAS Yuma. Thankfully the pilot is safe and doing well. A thorough investigation will be conducted.
