With the occasional tilt of his head and a glowing smile, Romney told the cheering convention crowd about how his childhood buddies in Detroit cared more about sports teams than to which church he went, and how a risky plunge into business ownership in his 30s turned into a major success. Referencing the bad times many Americans are having, Romney promised to create 12 million jobs by repealing Obamacare, tailoring a new energy policy, and paying down the country's debt.
