Peoria police detectives are still on the hunt for a man who reportedly robbed a gas station convenience store near 83rd Avenue and Bell Road with a rock last week.

The suspect threatened to bash the clerk's head in with the rock, which was described by the clerk as being "the size of a human foot," Peoria Police Spokesman Jay Davies told New Times.

An adult human foot ... we checked.

Detectives said the rock-robber made off with a small amount of cash at about 4 a.m. on March 11.

The suspect left the rock behind and fled on foot -- not surprising that he didn't have a bike or a car considering he robbed the store with a rock.

You've got the photo, but he is a white male, 18 to 25 year old, about 6 feet tall and was wearing a cone-headed hoodie, gray sweatpants and dark colored Chuck Taylor sneakers.

Thanks to the rock, the suspect faces charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault.

If you have any info on this suspect, call the Peoria Police Department at 623-773-8311.
