A Valley teen with no underlying medical conditions died from the H1N1 (swine) flu in early September, according to health officials. The teenager was from Maricopa County, but little else is known about him or her. Officials in Yavapai County reported their first death from swine flu earlier this week...William Inmon of St. Johns, Arizona pleaded guilty yesterday to the murders of three people, including 16-year-old Ricky Flores. Federal bankruptcy judge Redfield T. Baum rejected both bids for the Phoenix Coyotes ice-hockey team yesterday. Baum denied Canadian billionaire Jim Balsillie's bid outright, but told the NHL it could modify its bid to include payment to team owner Jerry Moyes and former coach and minority owner Wayne Greztky...Phoenix police are looking for kidnap victim Vivian Kelly, who was taken after a night out on the town. According to reports, Kelly and her boyfriend left a bar near 7th avenue and Thomas, and a balding white male in his 40s offered them a ride in his older-model, single-cab white truck. Once at their destination, the truck took off while Kelly's boyfriend was trying to help her out...The Arizona Diamondbacks dropped yet another game, losing 4-1 on the road to the San Francisco Giants last night. Rookie Kevin Mulvey allowed the four runs in six innings. The Diamondbacks face the Giants again tonight.
