5.) Dabbing Hysteria Exposed: Drug-Abuse Educator Slams ABC 15 for Exaggerations

 

Anti-drug educator Shane Watson often thinks about his appearance in a viral ABC 15 news story about the "threat" of dabbing.

"It's not an exaggeration to say that for a short period of time, it ruined my life," says Watson, who works for the local drug-prevention organization notMYkid.

He's not talking about dabs, one of several terms for concentrated hash oil.

Rather, it was the September 16 broadcast on ABC-15 (KNXV-TV) that messed him up.

4.) Seven Phoenix-Area Parents Arrested on Child-Abuse Charges Over the Weekend

 

Seven parents were arrested this weekend on felony child-abuse charges in the Phoenix area, which is an unusually high number of arrests.

Based on county booking records, there were 13 child-abuse arrests in the entire month of February, and 18 in March, an average of roughly one child-abuse arrest every other day. Read on for more information about this weekend's cases:

3.) "You Deserve Rape" Guy Takes a Trip to ASU

 

A University of Arizona student who's well-known on that campus for street preaching with a "You Deserve Rape" sign took his act to Tempe.

Dean Saxton, who calls himself "Brother Dean," enjoys telling women that they deserve rape, as you can see in the video below, taken at Arizona State University late last week:
