35. Banana Cream Pie Trifle at The Parlor Pizzeria

This Camelback Corridor dining staple is best known for its wood-fired pizzas, handmade pasta, and top-notch cocktails. But here's a little secret: The Parlor's desserts are great, too. In particular, I crave the restaurant's banana cream pie trifle, a luscious dessert that's big enough to share. This cup o' sweetness starts with a crumbly layer of graham cracker that gives way to layers of vanilla cream, sliced bananas, and banana cream. It concludes with a bottom layer of crushed graham — and by the way, we're not talking about the dry crackers you used for campfire s'mores as a kid. The Parlors graham cracker crumble is buttery and salty, making it the perfect foil for the layers of cream and fruit.

You'll probably want something savory before you jump into the sweets; I recommend the restaurant's Summer Corn pizza, a creation that includes roasted summer corn, chiles, corn puree, spicy crema, and cilantro, or the Yukon Gold, which offers roasted yukon potato, Gorgonzola, pancetta, leeks, and fragrant rosemary.
