West Valley residents with a love for chicken wings have a new restaurant to try. The Wing Counter, a fast-casual restaurant specializing in hot wings (duh), opened recently at 5350 West Bell Road in Glendale. The wing shop comes courtesy of Shane and Sheri Sender, who have owned and operated multiple quick-serve restaurants around town, including franchises of That's How You Roll and Lush Burger in Scottsdale.

The Wing Counter serves both bone-in and boneless chicken wings, covered in your choice of 14 different sauces and dry rubs. The list includes everything from different types of traditional buffalo sauce (original, hot, or scorching) to more original sauce flavors such as Kung Pao, Mango Habanero, Sriracha Honey, and BBQ. Dry rub options include TWC Style, the restaurant's specialty style; ranch; and garlic Parmesan.

Diners can choose six wings for $5.95, 10 for $8.45, a dozen for $9.95, 18 for $14.45, two-dozen for $18.95 or 36 for $27.95. Catering services and party platters are also available.

Other menu items include salads, sides such as fries and cole slaw, Southern Style Beignets, and cookies.
