Around these parts we don't have cool autumn breezes and color-changing foliage to let us know that fall is here. Nah, we've got something better. We've got Four Peaks Pumpkin Porter, the seasonal beer produced by Tempe's Four Peaks Brewery.

Brewed with actual pumpkin puree — none of that mysterious "pumpkin spice" flavor, whatever that means — Four Peak's Pumpkin Porter puts other pumpkin beers to shame. Spicy and sweet with just a subtle hint of pumpkin flavor, this beer is perfect for sipping during fall in Arizona. And since the brewery's been making it for 18 years now, you can guarantee that it's going to be well worth waiting for even if the flavor profile does vary slightly from year to year.

So where can you get it?  Well, Four Peak's Pumpkin Porter is now available at the brewery in Tempe and the brewpub and grill in Scottsdale.

It will be available statewide, including at stores in six-pack cans and growlers, starting on Monday, September 14

And for those beer lovers who are, like, so over the Pumpkin Porter, Four Peaks has some other news: In addition to its well-loved seasonal brew, the brewery will soon introduce Four Peaks Double Pumpkin at its pubs in Tempe and Scottsdale. The new beer is "an imperial pumpkin ale with a deeper, richer backbone and a spicy finish."

More pumpkin beer? Sounds good to us.
