Last LAP Night of the Semester
The Live Art Platform will host its final performance of the semester at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 23. The experimental group is part of the Intermedia program in the School of Art at the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at ASU and encourages anyone interested to participate in their performance nights. Completed projects and works-in-progress are welcome. See the event's Facebook page for more information and to sign up to perform.

Roosevelt Row Artist Meet and Greet
November's Artist Meet and Greet will take place at FEZ Restaurant and Bar on Tuesday, November 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. If you're a Phoenix-based artist of any medium, this is your chance to network and share ideas for projects and the community. Bicycle Nomad Café
The Velo Bicycle Shop in downtown Phoenix is celebrating Black Friday by organizing a group bike ride. Bikers can meet at The Velo, which is located at 828 N. 2nd Street, at 8 a.m. for coffee and snacks. Around 9 a.m., the group will head out for a 17-mile ride through downtown Phoenix, Margaret T. Hance Park, Willo Neighborhood, Encanto Neighborhood, Lower Grand Avenue, the State Capitol Complex, and the Rio Salado Habitat Find more details on the ride here.

Local Comic Shop Day
Samurai Comics is celebrating Local Comic Shop Day on Sunday, November 28, by hosting the Heroes United Cosplay Group and offering shoppers valuable variant cover issues of their favorite comics for a discounted price. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., shoppers can peruse titles from Marvel, Klaus, and more. There will also be an opportunity to earn some karma points by donating canned foods for St. Mary's Canned Food Drive. Fantasy of Lights Opening Night Parade
APS will host its 23rd annual Fantasy of Lights Parade on Saturday, November 28. Beginning at 6 p.m., more than 40 floats, balloons and musicians will stroll through downtown Tempe. The parade will end with a tree lighting ceremony in Centerpoint Plaza, where Santa is likely to make an appearance. More information on the parade is available here.
