Metro Phoenix vegans, get ready. Next month, the first PHX Vegan Food Festival will take place at the Phoenix Theatre and Phoenix Art Museum campus and will bring together some of the Valley's best vegan restaurants and food trucks for a day of dining, drinking, learning, and entertainment.

The festival will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, February 27, with early entry available to VIP ticket holders. In addition to small bites and samples from vegan restaurants and food producers, attendees can look forward to demonstrations and presentations by chefs and vegan experts, a kids’ activity area, a cash bar, and two stages featuring live music.

Local vendors also will be on hand to showcase vegan cooking products, gourmet food and beverage products, and personal-care items. Expert appearances will include chefs Jason Wyrick and Madelyn Pryor of The Vegan Taste, and Will Tucker, owner of Will Tucker Fitness and an International Federation of Physique Athletes Pro.

General admission to the event costs $25 and includes small bites from restaurants and food vendors, one drink token, and entertainment. VIP tickets cost $60 and include food, two drink tokes, entertainment, early entry at 11 a.m., and a meet and greet with Jason Wyrick and Madelyn Pryor. Additional food and drink and other vegan products will also be available for purchase.
