Diners at Hotel Valley Ho's Zuzu restaurant can enjoy a seasonal, four-course menu paired with wines from Napa Valley's Silverado Vineyards at the  Monday Night Chef’s Table event. Sample dinner entrées include pan-seared gnocchi with applewood-smoked bacon and asiago cream and herb-roasted New York strip served with au gratin potatoes, carrots, and herb pan jus. Mardi Gras at Southern Rail

Chef Justin Beckett's Southern Rail in Phoenix will throw a Mardi Gras feast complete with $5 King Cake slices, $5 Sazerac cocktails, live jazz, and lots of beads. Guests also can order some of Beckett's signature Cajun-influenced Southern cuisine, including the classic dish jambalaya. All You Can Eat Shrimp at Half Moon Sports Grill 
Tuesday, February 9

Half Moon Sports Grill's two locations in Phoenix are now serving an all-you-can-eat shrimp buffet in celebration of Fat Tuesday. Normally only available from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays, guests can order the All You Can Eat Shrimp on Fat Tuesday featuring shrimp topped with a special sauce infused with New Belgium Snapshot Wheat Ale. Half Moon’s peel-and-eat shrimp boil also comes with andouille sausage, corn on the cob, and red potatoes tossed in a Cajun sauce for $17.89. Guests looking to order one serving instead of all you can eat can do so for $9.99, with refills available for $6. Fondue at The Melting Pot

Whether you’re celebrating the beginning of Lent or just want to eat like a king for a day, The Melting Pot's Glendale, Phoenix, and Scottsdale locations are celebrating Fat Tuesday with a four-course meal that features an endless entrée course this week. For $39.95, guests can get a four-course meal that includes choice of cheese fondue, choice of salad, an endless fondue entrée that includes as many select items as you want, and your choice of chocolate fondue. The endless entrée includes filet mignon, white shrimp, Teriyaki-marinated sirloin, all-natural breast of chicken, and spinach and artichoke ravioli. Huss and SanTan Breweries Dinner at Gertrude's

Gertrude’s at the Desert Botanical Garden will host a four-course meal paired with beers from Huss and SanTan Brewing Companies this Thursday. A sample pairing includes “Bangers and Mash,” a dish featuring smoked lamb sausage, brown buttered rutabaga, pickled cabbage, and black truffle sauce paired with SanTan HopShock and Huss Nitro Stout. The evening starts at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $49 per person. Fish Fry at Original Breakfast House

If you observe Lent and are trying to not eat meat, The Original Breakfast House in Phoenix can help. Starting Friday, February 12, the restaurant is hosting a Fish Fry Dinner every Friday night from 4 to 7 p.m. The offer will continue until March 24.
