The Monocle in Downtown Phoenix is Opening on June 1
Inside a 1900s-era home, formerly Roosevelt Tavern, at 816 North Third Street, Matt and Erenia Pool (of Matt's Big Breakfast and Giant Coffee) are set to open a vintage-y American bar and restaurant sometime in the next week. The photos on their Facebook page are beyond adorable, and we can't wait to get a peek at the menu.

The Vig McDowell Mountain is Opening in North Scottsdale on June 5
Opening this Sunday, The Vig McDowell Mountain, a 13,000-square-foot, Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired space in North Scottsdale, will feature a huge patio with fire-pit seating, outdoor lockers for hikers setting off for the Sonoran Mountain Preserve, and games and activities for families. The ambitious project will host a grand opening on Sunday, and then will be open from Monday to Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Camp Social is Opening in Central Phoenix Any Day Now
Set to open at 6107 North Seventh Street, Camp Social is being designed as a kitchy, summer-camp themed destination restaurant, featuring cabin-themed decor, canoes, tire-swing seating, and a game room with ping pong and board games like Jenga. The menu will feature updated comfort foods like fried pickle poutine and wood-fired pizzas. Once they official open their doors, they will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. and 11 a.m. until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, with food served until 1 a.m. Keep driving by if you live in the neighborhood, or check their website for updates on the official opening date.
