http://www.firstrounddraft.com A popular hangout for transplanted Midwesterners, First Round Draft gets particularly busy during college football Saturdays. University of Nebraska fans from across the Valley tend to take over the joint whenever the latest Cornhuskers match-up takes place, occupying every seat in the house and filling the place with a sea of scarlet tee shirts. The rest of the week belongs to locals, however, with team trivia on Tuesdays, game nights featuring beer pong and bingo on Wednesdays, and Texas Hold'em tourneys on Thursdays. Friendly bartenders and reasonable drink prices are enough to keep you coming back, including 10-cent beers on your birthday. Heck, you might even want to make drive all the way from Nebraska just for a sip. Read more about this Phoenix bar or club >>
http://www.buffalowildwings.com Buffalo Wild Wings was founded in 1982 when a guy from Buffalo, New York traveled to Ohio to judge an amateur figure skating competition and failed to find any wings that measured up to the ones at home. Now B-Dubs, as it likes to call itself, has spread to nearly every state in the U.S. with more than 600 locations, including Phoenix, where it's easy to find on Voice Places. The yellow-and-black logo features a buffalo that has sprouted majestic wings, but make no mistake--it's strictly chicken here, available in regular or boneless varieties in 21 flavors from Garlic Parmesan and Caribbean Jerk to Asian Zing and the simply named but much feared Blazin'. Every location features a plethora of televisions for your sports-watching needs and a plentiful selection of beer on tap. Read more about this Phoenix bar or club >>
http://www.championssportssaloon.com Downtown Gilbert is known for its culinary offerings (see: Joe's BBQ, Liberty Market, and Joe's Farm Grill), but Champions Sports Saloon puts in a serious bid as the area's premier dive bar. Dive may not be the correct world for Champions. Though fondly remembered as The Coin, which was a genuine dive, in the best sense of the word, Champions has received a spit-shine in recent years, though the management has had the good sense to leave the rougher edges intact. The glowing neon sign beams proudly onto the street, beckoning visitors to investigate its wood-paneled interior. The bar's original register still sits proudly on the wall, accompanied by a slew of dartboards, a vintage Galaga/Ms. Pacman Machine, and a glowing Monster Mash pinball machine -- with a patron's high score scrawled on a piece of paper and taped onto the machine itself, a sign of the kind of person you'd want to hang out with for sure. http://www.crabbydons.net Disregard this Gilbert joint's fierce-faced logo and surly-sounding name, as Crabby Don's is often the site of fun and festive times courtesy of its numerous distractions and drink deals. For instance, it's hard to stay sour when buxom bartenders are serving you such specials as $10 beer buckets (featuring five bottles of domestic brews like Coors and Budweiser) and $3 well drinks every day. Once you've picked a drink, head for the front half of the establishment to partake in some live music. A large stage for bands and an even larger red and blue mural of a fiddler crab occupy one corner of the bar, while another wall is covered from floor to ceiling with various flyers and posters from previous gigs by local rock and hip-hop groups. Meanwhile, the back room is dominated by games of skill, including billiards, shuffleboard, and arcade units. Try not to frown if you end up losing to your friends, however, as you might disrupt Crabby Don's happy vibe. Read more about this Phoenix bar or club >>
http://www.epchandler.com El Palacio has been a Chandler mainstay for over three decades, they celebrated their 30th anniversary in 2012. El Palacio serves up the usual mix of Mexican standard accompanied by a 60 ounce margarita known simply as "The Don." Read more about this Phoenix bar or club >>
The Fieldhouse has more than just a clever name. Surrounded by fields, this sports bar on Val Vista and Ray is a hub for folks in the 'burbs to order up beers and snack on fried appetizers. The bar features live music and karaoke on a stage in the corner a few nights a week, and is even kind enough to offer free rides home according to a sign on the stage. The best part of the bar is the arcade selection, with vintage games like Double Dragon and Blitz glowing by the pool tables in the side room. With coin-eaters like that and plenty of brews at the ready, it's a good thing the bar stays open 'til 2 a.m. Read more about this Phoenix bar or club >>
http://www.foxandhound.com Whereas many sports bars might cater to followers of a specific NFL team, the Fox and Hound is the gridiron equivalent of the United Nations. Inside this pigskin paradise, Cardinals fans share tables with Bears backers while Broncos boosters sit side-by-side with Eagles aficionados at the bar. This all-inclusive atmosphere will also appeal to fantasy football nuts looking for a neutral site to track stats and update their teams via the free Wi-Fi access. The joint is also packed with a bountiful amount of billiards tables and two separate bars, each of which offer more than two dozen microbrews and the usual assortment of imports and domestics. And on Tuesdays, every single draft beer in the house is only $2.25 a pint. Now there's a way to shake off those early-week blues. Read more about this Phoenix bar or club >>

http://www.paytonsbar.net Given its moniker honoring legendary Chicago Bears running back Walter Payton, it ain't shocking that this sports bar in the heart of Gilbert is a monument to the Monsters of the Midway. Photos of the great godhead himself, Mike Ditka, adorn the walls alongside pictures of "Refrigerator" Perry, Soldier Field, and other Bears memorabilia. Despite its obvious favoritism toward the Windy City, fans of Ohio State and local sports squads are also welcome -- with the exception of those who root for the University of Arizona. For some reason, Payton's proprietors seem to detest the Wildcats. In addition to all the sports nuts, inside you'll find more than 30 flat-screens, a pair of pool tables, and a menu of traditional pub grub. Drink-wise, the bar is home to 19 domestic and import beers and drafts are available for $3 a pint. Have a cheap drink regardless of your allegiance; just make sure you don't block anyone's view when Da Bears are on, bub. Read more about this Phoenix bar or club >>
http://www.teakwoodstavern.com There's a certain down-home spirit to this casual, family-friendly bar and restaurant. A cartoon moose greets you at the entrance, abandoned peanut shells cover the floors, and rustic décor makes it feel like a place the Griswold family would stop by on one of Chevy Chase's family vacations. Teakwoods' kitchen serves up hearty bar food, including crowd favorites like burgers and wings and more unique offerings like lavosh. Sport your favorite jersey, order some on-special brew (there are drink specials every day of the week) and engage in laid-back lounging with a group of pals while you cheer on your favorite team.
