Arizona Taco Festival
If you’re the kind of person who wishes every day was Taco Tuesday, the seventh annual Arizona Taco Festival will surely satisfy, with nearly 60 taquerias slinging tortilla-wrapped treats over the course of two days.
On Saturday and Sunday, October 15 and 16, from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m., Salt River Fields will be taken over by some of the state’s top taco teams including Otro Cafe, Tacos Huicho, Hacienda’s Mexican Grill, Joyride Taco House, and Diego Pops. While chowing down on a ton of $2 tacos might be the main draw, performances by Jaleo Band, Fayuca, and more, as well as taco-eating contests, luchador wrestling, tequila tasting, a margarita mixology expo, and the best in show awards will keep crowds entertained over the weekend at 7555 North Pima Road in Scottsdale. General admission tickets for the event are $12 per day, with VIP and other ticketing options available. To purchase yours and find more information on this event, visit aztacofestival.com.
