On paper, the Phoenix Suns are the second worst team in the Western Conference. Fortunately, basketball isn’t played on paper. As anyone who follows the sport will tell you, the Suns have been trending up lately. Head coach Earl Watson has stayed the course, believing in his young squad and letting them make plenty of on-court mistakes along the way. Thus, the metamorphosis from an inexperienced team to an explosive, confident team is happening quicker than many of us expected. Make no mistake, the Suns aren’t good yet, but given their recent play, there’s no doubt they will be eventually. The Suns host a similarly promising team in the Milwaukee Bucks starting at 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, at Phoenix’s Talking Stick Resort Arena, 201 East Jefferson Street. Tickets are $19 and up. Visit suns.com or call 602-379-7800 for details.
