Chef Josh Hebert has been hosting late-night ramen pop-ups at his Scottsdale restaurant, Posh, for years. Hebert grew up in Phoenix and spent a year living and working (and eating) in Japan. These days you don’t have to wait for a special event to taste his spin on Japanese eats.
Every week, Posh will serve up ramen and okonomiyaki, the Japanese pancake containing a variety of ingredients such as cabbage and green onions, during Ramen Tuesday. Both ramen and okonomiyaki will cost $12 each, and the restaurant will also serve Japanese beers, Orion and Coedo. And get your chopsticks ready to try each of the ramen flavors, which include shoyu, miso, goma, shrimp, and a special alternating flavor.
Eat up from 5 to 9 p.m. at Posh Improvisational Cuisine, 7167 East Rancho Vista Drive, suite 111. For more information, visit www.poshscottsdale.com or call 480-663-7674.
