With her new western mystery Stripped Bare, Tucson transplant Shannon Baker is being compared to such best-sellers as C.J. Box and Craig Johnson.
You can find out for yourself when Baker visits the Poisoned Pen, 4014 North Goldwater Boulevard in Scottsdale, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, to sign copies of the novel about a Nebraska rancher who must clear her husband’s name after a neighboring rancher is murdered. Joining Baker are fellow western mystery writers Margaret Mizushima and recent Tony Hillerman prize winner Kevin Wolf.
Admission to the reading is free, but purchase is required for a spot in the signing line. Stripped Bare is available in hardcover for $24.99. For more information, call 480-947-2974 or visit poisonedpen.com.
