Hey Tempe, give yourself a pat on the back. For a college town, you sure do a lot. So much so that this month the Tempe History Museum invites residents and nonresidents alike to celebrate the many exports and creations of this Southwestern city. “Made in Tempe” will exhibit the many products made and/or manufactured in the Sun Devils’ hometown. To start this show off right, the museum will host an opening reception where visitors can experience a piece of Tempe history and culture as well learn about its local exports. There will also be small noshes and live music by Tempe band Bears of Manitou.

“Made in Tempe” opens with a community reception Friday, November 8, at 809 East Southern Avenue. The reception begins at 5:30 p.m. and is free to the general public. Visit www.tempe.gov or call 480-350-5100 for more information.
