Gallery Hazel

Letterpress might be a dying art – although we certainly hope it isn't – but don't tell the folks at Galley Hazel in downtown Phoenix. In this little space at the southwest corner of North 4th Street and McKinley the art of letterpress is alive and thriving. It's the only place in the arts district where you can witness a vintage letterpress in action and we stop by regularly to do just that. Not to mention to gawk at the impressive letterpress art on the walls and pick up a few unique cards to give to friends and family. For those who would actually know what to do if they got their hands on the giant machine, there's a Potter printing press available for print rental or you can leave it to the professionals and have Hazel and Violet INK design and print something for you.
