This Mesa restaurant has been serving traditional Korean eats for more than a decade with a menu that includes classic dishes such as bibim bap and bulgolgi, as well as more interesting options including daeji bulgolgi, a plate of spicy pork, and chok kalbi, or barbecued short ribs in a sweet marinade. If you’re looking for rice try the kimchi bokum bap, a generous serving of kimchi fried rice that comes served in a heavy stone bowl, and for a starter don’t skip the kimchi jun, an eggy pancake made mostly of spicy housemade kimchi and small pieces of pork. The restaurant doesn’t offer much in the way of décor, but the bold flavors and friendly service keep us coming back for Korean dining adventures.
