Don?t let the name fool you. Philthy Phil?s may sound sleazy, but this joint is a righteous place for a good time. Equal parts neighborhood dive bar and hipster hang, Phil?s features cheap drinks poured hard. Depending on the evening, you?ll encounter DJs spinning everything from hair metal power ballads to electro-funk. Its namesake owner ? who also works as a bartender ? has a way of graciously making the lively mix of patrons feel welcome and has a reputation for joining in on the fun. He also has a soft spot for the downtrodden (he lets his bouncer park his RV in the back lot), though he?s known to use a firm hand with rabble that tries to stir up the sort of trouble that slows the pouring of libations.
