7th Annual Tim Barber Walk for POP Prostate On-Site Project, highlighting National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Walk for POP is dedicated in memory of Tim Barber, a Tempe police detective who was tragically lost to prostate cancer at an unusually early age. With early detection and treatment, prostate cancer is nearly 100% survivable. Two mile walk, and men 40 and over can be screened on our POP mobile units. First 100 men scheduled receive FREE prostate cancer screening. Call to register or register online for walk! Men 40 and over or with a family history of prostate cancer, call POP to get scheduled and get checked! Event activities and vendor booths, live entertainment, food and refreshments will be available, as well as vital information on this silent killer disease which affects one out of 6 men.
