The Grand

The Grand is a 24-hour cafe, restaurant, bar and hangout space in downtown Phoenix, located in the space that formerly housed the nightclub Amsterdam. A major part of the sprawling venue’s appeal is its steampunk coffeehouse-meets-Victorian train station aesthetic, which is produced by glowing vintage light fixtures, shabby chic antique tables, and old-fashioned train timetables that grace exposed red brick walls. The menu offers a casual yet refined selection of gastropub fare, including braised short ribs poutine, pressed sandwiches, salads, and breakfast dishes. The kitchen stays open 24 hours, and serves small plates like gourmet macaroni and cheese into the wee hours of the morning. At the bar, you’ll find creative cocktails and a pretty extensive craft beer list.
