If you've been to Postino — either the original in Arcadia or the wine bar's Central Avenue location — then you have a good idea of what this latest venture from restaurateurs Craig DeMarco and Lauren Bailey has in store. With a come-hither list of craft beers, wines, and cocktails, and a menu of upscale bar staples, its location, in a renovated 1940-era building in Central Phoenix, is a favorite among well-heeled Gen Xers with an atmosphere that's conducive to simply being there. Stopping in for drinks and bar snacks is a guaranteed good time, with picnic kebabs, the mixed grain salad, crab cake BLT, or Brown Bag Chicken Sandwich best bets for eats. And if you've got a sweet tooth, Churn, DeMarco and Bailey's homemade ice cream and sweet shop, is next door. Read our review.
