Bar Smith

130 E. Washington St.
Phoenix, AZ 85004
602-229-1265
Website
As you can tell from the name, Bar Smith is primarily a bar – and a sleek, well-stocked one, at that. But the place serves lunch and dinner as well, focusing on American comfort food that goes well with alcohol, from a roasted barbecue pork sandwich and spicy chicken wings to old fashioned pot pie. Stop by for a midday meal or a casual bite before the game.

The Inside Word on Bar Smith

  • SummerS
Bar Smith is bringing some life back to Downtown Phoenix! It has the best dance floor, music, and atmosphere. For all the 18+ that attend ASU and are looking for a place to go head to Bar Smith on Thursday night. Solstice on Saturday nights is the best night in Arizona!
  • JessicaHill
If you like house music, Bar Smith is THE place to be on a Saturday night. DJs Pete Salaz and Senbad host the rooftop dance floor, along with guest DJs every week. If hip hop is your thing, DJs Benny Cutswell and element spin downstairs in the lounge-like space. It's not uncommon to see local B-Boys hanging out in the back space battling. Add Baron Gordon producing new art weekly on the huge chalkboard, hostess Tondra Dene taking your photo, and hotties Kate and Mark at the door and you've got Solstice! This is definitely a place to check out in Phoenix, if you're looking for a fun Saturday night! I absolutely love dancing upstairs, under the stars, with the towering buildings of downtown surrounding me.
