This expansive Tempe favorite is a nice enough bar and restaurant for freshmen to bring the parents during homecoming week or to make some time with that sorority hottie and her friends. Think of Dos Gringos as a training ground for the suburbanite theme restaurants you’ll visit with the future wife and kids -- it’s Mexican culture distilled down to frat-boy form. Dine inside the restaurant, or lounge in the courtyard by the outdoor pool to watch playoff games on the large-screen television while downing Coronas or Gringoritas. The kitchen offers a full menu until 2 a.m. DJs spin on the weekends and throughout out the week, with the occasional live band performing.
