Directed by executive chef Beau MacMillan, Elements celebrates high cuisine in bold, uncomplicated style -- fancy fare that leaves pretension at the door. The ever-changing cuisine is seasonal American, but with gutsy Asian accents. Specialties include fresh seafood, organic produce and dramatic dishes like prime beef carpaccio with maytag blue cheese and smoked walnut vinaigrette.

The Inside Word on elements

It’s got one of the great views anywhere, and certainly one of the great views in the valley. It’s on the hillside in the Camelback area. Everything is good there. I’ve never had a meal there that wasn’t a 9. It’s got all the things you want – ambience, comfort, it’s a high end location, it’s a showy location. Every meal I’ve had there is good. The menu changes. It’s seasonal. It’s got it all.
