Dude, if youre like totally looking for some groovy fun, be sure to pilot your old VW microbus on over to the Goat Head. It's a "kind" bar and grill offering jam-rock and all varieties of live music nearly every night of the week. An array of Americana, bluegrass, and rock groups also take to the colorfully-lit stage area at this charming wood-paneled bar. Several pool tables are also on the premises should you feel like proving your billiards superiority.
My favorite place to EAT and hear live music! Everybody who works in this Saloon is kind and friendly and always smiling. They'll go out of the way for you. The sound system is wonderful, the dancefloor is HUGE and the bathrooms are large and clean. The pool tables are newer. Shuffleboard, upscale jutbox, darts and other games. This place is big enough for a larger show and has a great vibe. Step inside the Goathead and you will see what I'm talking about. The food is amazing and the prices will not make you frown. Food served until 1am and later on busy nights. Check the place out! Call the Moonlit Gatherings Lightline for info on your local Music scene ((480))422~1080 and listen to the daily updates ~@~ Sunshine from Moonlit Gatherings Lightline

I have been going in to the Goat Head Saloon for a couple months now. The place was down to earth with good bands and pool tables. Over time I meet both Jason and Jeff the owners. Jason has always been very professional and a great host while bar tending. I stopped in one Sat. and ordered a tall draft Jeff was bar tending. Everything was ok up until I gave Jeff a ten for a beer and he gave me back $2.25 in change. I asked Jeff if he knew I gave him a ten and not a five. He responded with "you bought so an so a drink" Only one problem with that argument Jeff. I was paying as I ordered! If in fact I had bought someone a drink and I was paying as I go, where was this person and where was the drink I had just ordered? Lets say someone did come up to the bar ordered a drink and pointed me out as the one paying. Why did you not ask if I was buying and ask for payment at that time Jeff? You had no problem asking for payment at the time of delivery on every sale up until that point.
Long story short. I busted Jeff red handed with holding my change and when I called him on it he called the door guy over and told me to leave. I flicked the $2.25 at Jeff and told him ripping his patrons off was bad business. He said "Don't come back". Well Jeff, you don't have to worry about that. I don't spend money in clubs that practice stealing from their customers. As I said, I never had a problem with Jason and I feel that Jason is an honest guy and great host. Sorry Jason for the review but, your partner is ripping people off and that CAN'T be tolerated by people who have spent alot of money in your club.
If Jason is bar tending stay and have a good time. If Jeff is behind the bar, watch your change or just go find a club with an ethical bar tender.

Attention musicians, if you value the time and effort you put in to playing and practicing your music, DON'T PLAY HERE!!!! This place will nickle and dime you on the day of the show aginst the pay they have already promised. i don't know any bands that would be happy to receive only about 1/4 of what they were promised at the time of booking. They'll charge you $75.00 for their soundman even if you don't want to use him. Places like this need to be boycotted. Stand up for your music & DON'T PLAY THIS BAR!!!!
