Upscale sports bar that’s a pleasant departure from its seedy, low-rent brethren (Fox Sports Grill in north Scottsdale is another exception). Name comes from the “half-moon” that’s formed when you bend over. So, the owners have a sense of humor. Another indication of same: the restrooms, which have an odd fixture you’ll have to figure out for yourself. No beer on tap, oddly, but the bottled “beer of the month” is usually pretty reasonable, as are the house martinis. Solid American fare such as beer-battered fish and chips, meat loaf, and chicken wings dominates the menu.
