Hodori

1116 S. Dobson Rd.
Mesa, AZ 85202
480-668-7979
Clean, spacious, and minimalistic, Hodori occupies a spot on one of the East Valley’s busiest corners for Asian food. (Among other neighbors, there’s a Vietnamese café and a Korean market in the same strip mall.) There’s none of the cook-it-yourself Korean barbecue that you’d find at fancier places, but that’s okay. Bulgogi lands on the table still sizzling, while the addictingly spicy kimchi-tofu soup arrives ready to boil over. - Michele Laudig
