Liberty Market

230 N. Gilbert Rd.
Gilbert, AZ 85234
480-892-1900
Website
The brainchild of restaurateur Joe Johnston, Liberty Market is the East Valley’s answer to La Grande Orange in Phoenix. Like his other eateries, Joe’s Real BBQ and Joe’s Farm Grill, the vibe here mixes wholesome vintage Americana with a hip, modern sensibility. Open all day, the casual menu includes filling breakfast dishes, entrée-sized salads, sandwiches, and wood-fired pizzas, as well as homey desserts like chocolate chip cookies and Rice Krispie treats. And don’t miss the E-61 Bar, the sleek in-house java counter named after the gleaming restored ‘60s-era Faema espresso machine that they use to make a long list of coffee drinks.
