Beautiful little tapas restaurant from Daniel and Felicia Ruiz Wayne, the people who brought us Lux Coffeebar on Central Avenue. Since selling their java joint, they’ve devoted themselves to Spanish cuisine and culture with as much energy as they once put into their espresso. The result is quite authentic looking and tasting, a one-of-a-kind spot with Iberian wines and eats, and enough atmosphere to placate Pedro Almodóvar, should he ever pass through town. The only seating is at the small bar or at long common tables, so be prepared to socialize.

We have gone here for years and years - well actually, to Lux before this and now to their new restaurant Lola. They have a nice patio outside that is a bar at night. In reality, you could stay here all day. Sublime.

For a city with few standout restaurants, this one is brilliant in any city and really shines in Phoenix. Small intimate tapas restaurant, excellent sangria and always one great desert to cap off the meal. Operated by Felicia and Daniel who cook every night, you can also stop in for the best coffee in the city in the mornings. Daniel was a worldclass barista before he became a chef.
