Northlight Gallery

Matthews Hall Tempe, AZ 85287 | Tempe | 480-965-3468

Location Description:

Normally a college campus might not be the ideal place to look for world-class photo exhibitions but at the Northlight Gallery, that's just you might find. On the west side of Arizona State University's Tempe campus, this university-run gallery hosts shows more than just student work. There certainly is a lot of that, but you might also catch photo-based work from emerging, underrepresented and internationally recognized artists. Students who are taking a Photo Exhibitions course at the school may get to help run operations and more, but it's mainly under the direction of talented shutterbug Liz Allen. Shows, whether impressive or not, don't stick around this joint for long (usually between two weeks and two months) so you'll want to get a move sooner rather than later if you want to catch a glimpse.
