6035 N. 7th St. Phoenix, AZ 85014 | Central Phoenix | 602-266-0831

Location Description:

This contemporary, easygoing Mexican restaurant from Doug Robson, chef-owner of Gallo Blanco, features a thoughtful listing of very good, affordable, and familiar Mexican dishes (think tacos, tortas, and street snacks) as well as a few more elevated, and shareable ones. Don’t miss the Spanish-style tapas called El Español, an outstanding Inca salad made with nearly a dozen ingredients, and exquisite, share-worthy meals of pollo en mole negro and red chilaquiles. Like the food, the libations — from beer and wine to the Cuba Libre, a do-it-yourself cocktail made up of a glass of ice, a Mexican Coke, and a carafe filled with the rum of your choice, let you get as fancy or as familiar as you’d like.
