Celeb chef Chris Bianco has worked his magic again, this time concentrating on a tiny menu of sandwiches and salads. Fare is takeout only, and it’s expensive, but it’s worth the work for farmers-market-fresh quality. Anything with homemade mozzarella is a marvel.

The Inside Word on Pane Bianco

You have to order the tomato, basil and homemade mozzarella on focaccia. It's delicious! There is no seating inside, but you can take it next door to the coffee shop.

(See my review of Pizzeria Bianco) This place has great atmosphere, great sandwiches (however, I know of other places in the valley and across the country with sandwiches/hotdogs on equal par--just depends on what you want/like), accessible, adequate parking, LIMITED operating hours, great outdoor seating--pet friendly, and a great neighboring business (LUX coffee shop).
