This cheerful, family-owned breakfast and lunch spot in a strip mall off Greenway Parkway delivers a satisfying selection of breakfast and lunch fare with daily specials that are worth your while. Featuring homemade staples of solid American favorites with a few unique twists, the light and delicately sweet pancakes with a whisper of vanilla are some of the best in the Valley and should not be missed. Other a.m. favorites include homemade corned beef, the French and flavorful Fancy Pants Scramble, and potato pancakes with applesauce, sour cream, or a little of both. Afternoon delights include two-handed sandwiches like the meaty For Pete’s Steak and Greek chic Bahama Mama, and the hefty Jamaican chicken salad. Service is, well, perky and prompt, and the owners aren’t shy about stopping by your table to say hello.
