The biggest Ranch Market to date in Arizona, with about 53,000 square feet of Mexican foodstuffs in one space. This blockbuster supermercado boasts its own food court, a pescadería with a mariscos stand at which to eat ceviche, a tortillería pumping out tortillas nonstop, an agua fresca stand, carnicería, panadería, and so much more besides. Like a Mexican mini-city on its own, and well worth the trip, whether its for a cheap lunch of tacos or tortas in La Cocina (the kitchen) or perusing RMs magnificent produce section, with everything from barrels of whole jicama to rows of dried chiles. Everyone should go; its a cultural extravaganza.
Why travel to Mexico when you can avoid the gunfire and still enjoy great Mexican food and the Mexican people!
Ranch Market is the answer in Phoenix. What a treasure!
We had a shopping experience from hell. My friend invited me to join her to the Ranch Market in Phoenix AZ. She was excited to show me this store, especially Wednesday’s sale on fresh produce. As soon as walked in the doors we were immediately followed by security. We are two white women with a Latin male. Before I knew it we were speaking to Police officers, managers and your store attorney asking for our I.D. We were accused of being Union spies and told to leave. We were told to never return or we would be arrested. We drove 35miles to catch the Wednesday produce sales, to be treated like sub human. I would like to see the surveillance footage. I should contact our own attorney and press charges against your store for being discriminatory if we do not get an apology. We demand an apology. For a store that is expanding it is a shame to see customers treated this badly. I have to give stars where it is deserved and I feel customer service doesn't even deserve a star other then the nice lady in the cafeteria that served us our food and drink. The security guards and management seemed to forget that we are not in Mexico anymore, and making up lies to keep themselves busy. I am surprised they didn't try to extort us too. BUt they kinda had the cops hold my friend for ransom in the store until I came back in the store to show them my ID. Shop at your own risk especially if your white. All the above are true statements and facts.
