It's for tourists, but this landmark cowboy steak house is no trap. Have your kids deputized by the "Old Timer," get your picture taken in Western duds and enjoy the country-western band. Then settle in for excellent, mesquite-grilled steaks. The two-pound porterhouse and New York strip are the best options. Cheesecake and apple pie are effective desserts.
