Rancho Pinot

6208 N. Scottsdale Rd.
(Scottsdale Rd. and Lincoln Dr.)
Paradise Valley, AZ 85253
480-367-8030
Website
Rustic-chic setting featuring paintings of cowboys, roughhewn chairs, and the occasional stuffed jackalope. Service is friendly, and generally faultless. Excellent wine list is a draw, as is a menu of gourmet comfort fare featuring fresh local ingredients culled daily from the area’s farmers’ markets. The grilled squid salad and the ricotta gnocchi are signature appetizers. Signature entrees include the homemade pastas and “Nonni’s Sunday chicken.” The restaurant closes on Sundays and Mondays during the non-snowbird season, so be sure to call ahead.
