Rosie McCaffrey's Irish Pub

906 E. Camelback Rd.
Phoenix, AZ 85014
602-241-1916
Website
The best damn Irish pub in the world! Okay, you got us, we’ve never even been to Ireland, but at the very least, it’s the best Irish pub in Phoenix. And why wouldn’t it be? It comes to us from none other than Séamus McCaffrey, the fellow who lent his name to the second-best Irish pub in the Valley, which is downtown next to the Hotel San Carlos. McCaffrey sold the downtown establishment to his bartender Frank Murray, and opened Rosie’s on Camelback. The new place appeals to all senses equally. The fish and chips are superb, as is the corned beef and cabbage, and there’s Harp and Guinness on tap, too. Irish music most nights of the week. All in a two-floor building of dark wood, stained-glass windows, and portraits of Irish rebels of yore. And if you stay at the bar long enough, and drink enough Irish whiskey, you may feel a gaggle of leprechauns running up your leg! Céad Míle Fáilte, indeed.
